AD9821KSTZ is a complete 12-bit, 40 MSPS imaging signal processor launched by ADI. It adopts a 48-pin LQFP (7x7mm) surface mount package and is specifically designed to handle the output signals of CMOS image sensors and CCD arrays that have integrated on-chip CDS.
This device integrates a complete analog signal processing chain, including: differential input sampling-keeping amplifier (SHA), digital control variable gain amplifier (VGA) (providing a gain range from 0dB to 36dB), low-noise optical black level clamping circuit, analog pre-decimation function, and a 12-bit 40MSPS ADC. The internal registers are programmed through a 3-wire serial digital interface and can be configured for gain adjustment, black level adjustment, and shutdown mode.
It is powered by a single 3V supply voltage, with a typical power consumption of 150mW. The operating temperature range is from -20°C to +85°C. The MSL rating is Level-3.
