Manufacturer:Analog Devices Inc. (ADI)
Stocks:2000
Describe:

MAX3442EESA+T is an RS-485/J1708 transceiver with fault protection function launched by Maxim Integrated (now ADI). It adopts an 8-pin SOIC surface mount packaging. This device is specially designed for harsh environments such as industrial communication buses and integrates high-level circuit protection and highly reliable communication features.
This transceiver consists of 1 driver and 1 receiver, supporting half-duplex communication. Its key features include: the communication bus pins provide ±60V fault protection, and ±15kV ESD protection (HBM). The data rate is up to 250kbps, and the operating power supply voltage range is 4.75V to 5.25V.
This device also has a fail-safe function. When the receiver input is in an open circuit, short circuit or idle state, the output is a logic high level. The hot-swappable circuit eliminates data bus error jumps when initializing the circuit or connecting to a live backplane. The 1/4 unit load receiver input impedance allows up to 128 nodes to be connected on a single bus. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +85°C.
Features :

• Product Type: RS-485/RS-422 Transceiver, Half-Duplex, 1 Driver / 1 Receiver
• Fault protection: ±60V fault protection for communication bus pins, ±15kV ESD protection (HBM)
• Data rate: 250 kbps
