Describe:

Precision unit gain differential amplifier with ultra-wide common-mode input voltage range. This device is a single-chip precision differential amplifier composed of a precision operational amplifier and an integrated thin-film resistor network. It can accurately measure tiny differential voltages even in the presence of up to ±200V common-mode signals, and can replace isolated amplifiers in applications without electrical isolation, eliminating expensive isolated power supplies and the associated ripple, noise, and static current. The input can withstand up to ±500V instantaneous common-mode or differential overload, with a common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of at least 70dB (typical value 86dB). Non-linearity is as low as 0.001% (maximum), and the bandwidth is 200kHz. It is packaged in an 8-pin PDIP, operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, and is suitable for industrial automation, power monitoring, and other applications requiring high common-mode voltage differential measurements.
