Describe:

High-speed CMOS eight-channel bus buffer/driver with tri-state output and in-phase operation. This device is a member of the M74HC540/HC541 series and is manufactured using silicon-gate C2MOS technology. As a non-inverting buffer, it is highly suitable for driving bus lines or buffering memory address registers. The output control section is designed as a dual-input AND gate form. Both the two output enable pins (G1 and G2) are effective when at low levels. When either enable terminal is at a high level, all 8 channels of output will enter a high-impedance state. The input and output are distributed on both sides of the package, facilitating PCB layout and routing. This device is packaged in SOP-20, with an output driving capability of up to 6mA, and can directly drive 15 LSTTL loads. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C, suitable for industrial and military-grade harsh environments.
