Dual-channel digital isolator, employing ADI's unique iCoupler® magnetic isolation technology. This device combines high-speed CMOS with single-chip transformer technology, providing two independent isolated channels, configured as 1 forward/1 reverse (unidirectional). It supports a wide power supply voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V, with a data rate up to 1Mbps, an isolation voltage of 2500Vrms, and a common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) of up to 25kV/µs. Compared to optocouplers, it has a power consumption of only one-tenth to one-sixth, without the need for external drivers and discrete components. It features a patented refresh function to ensure correct DC operation in the absence of input logic transitions and power-on/off conditions. Through enhanced system-level ESD reliability design, it performs better than the ADuM120x series in IEC 61000-4-x tests (ESD, pulse group, surge) with superior performance.
