CDSOT23-SM712 is a dual-channel bidirectional TVS/ESD protection diode array launched by Bourns, featuring an SOT-23 micro surface-mount package. This device is specifically designed to provide electrostatic discharge (ESD), electrical fast transient pulse group (EFT), and surge protection for communication ports such as RS-485.
This device integrates two TVS diodes inside. The peak reverse working voltages are 7V and 12V respectively, and the corresponding minimum breakdown voltages are 7.5V and 13.3V respectively. The maximum clamping voltages are 14V and 26V respectively, and the peak pulse power is as high as 400W (8/20µs waveform).
This device complies with several international transient immunity standards: IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD ±30kV), IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT), and IEC 61000-4-5 (surge). The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to +150°C, meeting the RoHS standard and being lead-free and environmentally friendly. It is packaged in SOT-23 and can be directly installed on standard SOT-23 pads.
