This is an 8A, 800V ultra-fast recovery rectifier diode, with a TO-220 package. It features an extremely short reverse recovery time (typical value 35ns) and low forward voltage drop, which can significantly reduce switching losses. It is mainly used for the current sharing, rectification and buffer protection in switching power supplies, inverters and motor drive circuits.
